Oral Concsious Sedation
Although marketed heavily by lesser trained Dentists. Oral (pill) sedation is much less effective and predictable than IV sedation. Because oral sedation is only appropriately effective in about 50% of patients, it is best suited for less anxious patients as a relaxing agent prior to treatment and not for actual sedation during treatment. If patients wish to have a very predictable sedation experience, IV sedation is the only type to chose. With over 99% effectiveness, IV sedation is by far a better and safer form of sedation. Having over 24 years of sedation experince, Dr. Randel Dietze knows what types of sedation are best. Dr. Dietze is the most experienced Dentist in all of NE Wisconsin ( including Green Bay and the valley) to practice IV sedation.
